I am so excited to tell you there are only 16 weeks left until our fantastic Harrogate Proms event! Have you bought your tickets yet?  We are extremely grateful to Equinox Financial Planning who are our main platinum sponsor for this event.   You can find out more about Equinox at they offer a wide range of services whether you are looking to build, grow, protect or preserve your wealth.

We are still looking for raffle prizes for The Proms so if you would like to donate a prize please do get in touch.  We would love to hear from you.  While I look outside the window and see a glimmer of sunshine breaking through the clouds I must remember to tell you about our Summer Extravaganza featuring It’s A Knock-Out.   This will be held on Sunday 7 June 2020 at Harrogate High School.  The event will be fun for all the family, whether you are taking part or spectating!

We will publish more information regarding It’s a Knock Out in the next few weeks but please save the date in your diary! There will be something for everyone, I cannot promise you sunshine (though I have requested it!) but I can promise you a fantastic family fun day!

We have some fantastic events coming up which will raise vital funds for us one of these is The Collavoce Collective who have a licence to sing on Sunday 5 April, 7 pm, The Crown Hotel, Harrogate, HG1 2RZ, to mark the release of the 25th James Bond film.  Unleash your inner Bond or M in the fabulous setting of The Crown Hotel and Henry’s Bar, Harrogate. Begin your evening at 7.00 pm with a reception, Prosecco and canapés, followed by the main feature at 7.45 pm. Dress as you favourite Bond character and you could win an Aston Martin DB5 (maybe not the same size as Daniel’s). Tickets £16 (includes a glass of Prosecco and canapés). If you are looking for something a bit more adventurous how about Total Warrior on Sunday 28 June 2020 at Bramham Park?  We have 30 free places for HHCC fundraisers. If you wish to take part, please get in touch – all we ask is you aim to reach minimum fundraising of £500 per person for HHCC. Hurry as places are going fast!  There are a number of ways you can donate to HHCC, cheque, Bacs, through the online donations, cash or card.  Just take a look at our website for more information.

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who raised money for us in February, and good luck to all taking part in events and activities in March!  On a personal note from me, I would like to thank each one of you who make such a difference to HHCC raising funds in so many different ways!  The enthusiasm of our supporters never ceases to amaze me you are all wonderful!  Thank you!

HHCC Proms 27 June 2020

We are excited to be working alongside Harrogate Choral Society (HCS) and Harrogate Symphony Orchestra (HSO) to present you with The Harrogate Proms with Harrogate Symphony Orchestra and Voices for Harrogate being held at The Harrogate Convention Centre.

Two leading music organisations HCS and HSO are joining forces to present a special showcase concert, which will be compered by popular BBC Look North broadcaster Harry Gration.

With a unique choral force of 400 singers – Voices for Harrogate – formed by the Choral Society together with singers from choirs in the Harrogate District and accompanied by the 100-strong Harrogate Symphony Orchestra presenting a fantastic evening of popular pieces.

The programme will feature a feast of operatic and Proms favourites as well as other popular works such as Carl Orff’s O Fortuna, Verdi’s Grand March from Aida, Jenkins’ Suite from the Armed Man and Rutter’s Look at the World.

All proceeds from this fantastic event will come directly to Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity to do more for patients and their families.

Could you be our next #HHCCWARRIOR? And take on Total Warrior 2020!

Total Warrior ’The Original’ is now going into its 10th year and is still the biggest and most popular event of the year. The Action-packed 12K course gives you the full Warrior experience and is filled with top obstacles.

Expect anything from the ‘Human BBQ’, ’The Plunge’ and ‘The Shocker’ but also come prepared for newer obstacles like the awesome ‘Waterfall’. This is one tough course. Don’t let the serene stately home setting fool you into thinking any different.

Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity are pleased to announce Free Entry to Total Warrior on Sunday 28 June 2020, but hurry, we only have a limited amount of spaces.
To qualify for your free space we ask you to aim to raise a minimum sponsorship of £500, to help us do more for patients and their families!
